Twezi Chess Club – Code of Conduct

  1. Come Prepared to Learn

Arrive on time and in full uniform (T-shirt if issued).

Bring your chess kit and notebook (if provided).

 2. Respect Everyone

Show respect to coaches, fellow players, and visitors.

No shouting, teasing, or negative comments during games.

3. Play With Discipline

Touch-move rule applies: if you touch a piece, you must move it.

No cheating or distracting others during matches.

4. Stay Focused

No phones, tablets, or toys during sessions unless approved by coach.

Keep noise levels low during games and instructions.

5. Win Humbly, Lose Gracefully

Shake hands before and after every game.

Congratulate your opponent—win or lose.

 6. Take Care of Club Property

Handle boards, pieces, and materials with care.

Return all borrowed equipment after use.

 7. Visitors & Parents

Parents may observe quietly from designated areas.

Visitors may attend only on Saturdays and must pay per session.

 8. Attendance & Payment

Members pay UGX 10,000 per day attended.

Visitors pay UGX 20,000 per session.

Consistent attendance leads to faster progress and ranking.
