Twezi Chess Club is a youth development academy based in Kyanja, Uganda, where children and teens learn focus, strategy, and confidence through chess. With swimming and public speaking as a bonus.

We don’t just teach moves, we train minds.

I watched my child spend hours in front of the TV, bright screen, dull eyes.

And I said: Enough.

I wanted more for him. More focus. More confidence. More brilliance.

So I bought a chessboard, cleared the table, and taught the first move.

And just like that, a spark was lit.

Today, that spark is Twezi Chess Club, born in the heart of Kyanja, built for every parent who believes that their child can be more than average.
